What is a podcast?

A podcast is digital audio file made available on the Internet for downloading to a computer or portable media player, typically available as a series, new instalments of which can be received by subscribers automatically.

Check out this “How to listen to a podcast” video for more information. It was created specifically for the podcasts This American Life and Serial but the information it presents is about podcasts in general and is applicable to listening to SaskScapes. If you have questions about podcasts or encounter any difficulties while trying to listen or subscribe, please contact Shelley Fayant at sfayant@saskculture.ca or (306) 780-9289.
